Yesterday I did some work to match a clients need - they did not want to use the standard checkbox to mark the node as published, they wanted a button instead, a publish button.

We decided to move our make file with our required modules the NS Core module in order to make it easier to build on top of NodeStream.

I recently wanted to get a full project up on drupal.org, so I created a sandbox project and made an application to get it up. Somewhere in the way I lost the Drupal spirit and started to nag about how much time the process took.

When building Drupal sites today, you are often faced with two choices: Start out from scratch building a solution on top of the Drupal ecosystem, or go with an already made solution in form of a distribution. We believe in the middle way: Build on top of a platform that provides the solutions for most problems you are facing, and solve your specific needs on top of that platform. NodeStream is what we would like to call a platform distribution, a distribution that is meant to be extended, solving problems in the media publishing problem space.

Obviously, there has been a security breach as Kitten Killers' head quarters. An unreleased demo has been leaked: #988212: Write/Compose a song for the Drupal 7 release (as a Marketing Effort).

Den 26 maj hölls Drupaldagen i Karlstad! Det var en rolig tillställning med många deltagare, och extra glad var jag som fick hålla moduldemonstrationer under eftermiddagen. Bifogat finns obehandlade screencasts från demonstrationerna.
