Building a website is not an easy task! But if you choose Drupal as your framework, you can work together with many others to make the job easier for everyone. The rules folder can be downloaded below.

How to get your own deck

Due to the Icelandic ash cloud blocking air space in most of Europe we will not be able to get to San Francisco in time for the conference. That's not stopping the game however! Our good friends at the conference are helping us distribute the game:

  • Josh and Jen have worked extra to make sure the decks made it to the conference and the game is now available in the Chapter Three sponsor booth.
  • Our favorite member of the Danish royal family, mortendk, is handing out decks.
  • Greg at Palantir.net's booth is lending a hand getting the decks out to you.
  • Addison is helping is out and decks are available at the Lullabot sponsor table.
  • Todd at Four Kitchens is also offering assistance and Four Kitchens will also have decks in their booth.
  • Robert Douglass is also helping out and cards may also be available from Acquia's booth.

If you're not attending DrupalCon SF and want a deck, send us a message and we'll notify you when there are decks available that we can mail.

Hello! Great game! Will there be a printable version for those who don't manage to visit DrupalCon San Francisco? I'd love to play it :)

Contact us with your address and we'll try and send some decks your way. The decks are currently in the US and we're stuck in Sweden so I cannot make any promises however.

Is there a PDF of the cards available? I'd love to look through the cards, possibly print a test deck to play tomorrow night (tho I'll pick up a deck next week anyway).

What liberating knolwedge. Give me liberty or give me death.

Margie Barker

Yes this game is disgusting and sexist! Why don't you menz go back to the kitchen and stop pretending to play at website creation! The internet was built by us feminists!

Matts Hildén

I hope you have had time to try and play a few rounds! The game is actually all about building awesome Drupal websites. The idea of a fun card game was to explain to people who are not familiar with the wonderful world of Drupal a little about how Drupal, modules and community cooperation works. Or at least give them a hint, in the end, it's just a card game. People from all over are mailing us to get a copy, for themselves and as gifts. Most people seem to like it, and I doubt they are all sexists. I can guarantee you that there is no hidden "sexist agenda" behind this game.

Joan

Haha! Awesome game! I want!

Jakob Persson

Let us know your mailing address and we'll send you a deck for free: info@nodeone.se

Judging by his language, I wonder if morten.dk learned how to play from Flodhesten Dolph? :-)

Jesper Wøldiche

That guy is obviously a fake. Morten.dk swears a lot more than that :-)

Jesper Wøldiche

Hi Matts. Do you have any decks left for sale or sharing - or a printable version?

Johanna Lindh

Jesper, there's a deck left for you. Please send your snail mail address to drupalcardgame@nodeone.se . The printable files are attached to this blog post.

Steven Wittens

There are no decks left at the office to send right now, but you could send an e-mail to drupalcardgame@nodeone.se and ask to be added to the waiting list. Also, we will be handing out freshly printed decks at DrupalCon Copenhagen next week. And we'll be hosting a tournament! So make sure to visit the NodeOne stand at DrupalCon! :)
